Aloha! My name is Megan and I’m aspired to become a long practicing yogi. I’ve always been interested in yoga with all the powerful poses and flexibility.
In high school I lifted weights, wrestled for a season, and track and field was my love. Unfortunately knee, foot, and ankle injuries led me to put those power sports to the side. I could barely run the long miles. Since I took a yoga class in college and researched many of the benefits of yoga I decided to go that route. After “binging” yoga I was thankful to find Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown. Its yoga with the intensity turned up a little creating a cardio yoga routine. It’s a perfect fit in my need to let out some power and strengthening my weak points. So, that’s where my journey begins. 😉 After my first month of yoga meltdown I fell in love with the crow pose. Can’t wait to get stronger and look like veteran yogi’s in this pose. =P
